Elements of Texture

 





    Texture is the way something feels or the way something looks like it feels. In the first photo you see a close up of a wall, it looks kinda rough. In the second photo, you see a dead leaf, it looks dry and rough probably crinkly. In the third photo, the dirt looks pretty soft in the center, while if you touched it on the outside it would seem more jagged, with all the bits of wood. In the fourth photo you see a tree trunk, the tree trunk looks really hard, and kinda dirty. The last photo shows a pillar, it looks as if it feels really smooth except for the little bumps and scraps.
